PDCA Craftsmanship Forum Conference 2012
PDCA Craftsmanship Forum Conference was held in Chicago on September 21 & 22, 2012, at the Historic Glessner House. A National Historic Landmark, Glessner House was designed by noted American Architect, Henry Hobson Richardson and completed in 1887. It remains an internationally-known architectural treasure for Chicago. The structure served as an inspiration to the young Frank Lloyd Wright and helped transform American Architecture.

Another Exceptional Display of Craftsmanship was our “Guided Tour of Decorator’s Supply”, which the attendees loved.
Decorators Supply Corporation traces it’s history back to 1883 when the original founders, established a partnership to manufacture “artistic decorative accessories”. By 1893 they became one of the manufacturers of the mouldings that would adorn the buildings and halls showcased in the Columbian Exhibition of 1893. These buildings, embellished with ornamental plaster, became known as the “White City”. Decorators Supply houses vaults of original 100+ year old carvings.
